Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH)
Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (CAH) is an inherited condition in which the adrenal glands become enlarged or overgrow. Girls with CAH may have an enlarged part of the female genitals at birth. They may have male-like features as they grow. Boys with CAH are born with normal genitals. They may develop adult male features as early as two or three years of age.
