News Update: Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C)

MIS-C is a rare but serious complication associated with COVID-19. DSHS has launched a new multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) data webpage, replacing the MIS-C count table previously located on this page. You can view the data page at dshs.texas.gov/coronavirus/mis-c/mis-c-data. The data will continue to be updated monthly. DSHS is working to learn more about why some children and adolescents develop MIS-C after having COVID-19 or contact with someone with COVID-19, while others do not.
