The DSHS Fiscal Monitoring Unit (FMU) provides financial oversight of grantees. The fiscal reviews performed ensure accountability by examining the financial records and internal controls of entities receiving federal and/or state funds through DSHS. The review process determines if the grantee's financial management and accounting systems are adequate to provide assurance that costs charged to DSHS grants are in accordance with contractual, federal and/or state requirements. DSHS fiscal monitoring is proactive, results‐oriented, and committed to providing technical assistance to grantees to help them comply with financial grant requirements.

REMINDER: All Property Inventory Reports (GC-11) are due on October 15.
