Quality Assurance

The Quality Assurance (QA) team is tasked with assessment of progress toward the achievement of goals, outcomes, performance measures, critical tasks, and activities detailed in the contractor’s preparedness work plan. QA also facilitates the identified need and/or request for technical assistance.

The QA team conducts reviews of contractors and regional operations to identify gaps, challenges, and resources (at the State, regional or local level) which can be utilized to assist with strengthening local preparedness levels. 

The QA team works with both HPP and PHEP Program Staff as well as staff from the other branches within the Community Preparedness Section. The QA Team also works with the Contract Management Unit.  Each contractor is reviewed once every three years unless identified issues prompt a more frequent assessment.
