Screening of Texas documentary video series, Surviving Disaster: How Texans Prepare

2 p.m. Presentation Begins.

The Texas Department of State Health Services is screening stories from its new Surviving Disaster: How Texans Prepare documentary series to local emergency management leaders, community groups and others interested in disaster preparation. Through real people and real stories, the series shows the impact a disaster can have on a community and how emergency preparation can save lives. Attendees will be given the DVD package to screen to their local organizations to promote disaster preparation and prompt people to solidify plans.
